Potato Stamp is a classic autumn activity that combines creativity and is a great bonding time for you and your children.
What you'll need:
Potatoes
Sharp knife (for grown up use only!)
Autumn colored paints
Paper
4 Easy Steps:
Cut each of the potatoes in half
Using a sharp knife, carve out the stem and three little veins on each side of it, resembling a leaf
Set up the Autumn colored paints on a palette or small bowls
Draw a leaf-less tree on the paper
Let your children dip the carved side of the potato in the different colored paints and stamp their beautiful tree! Let them get creative and use different colors and normal brushes as well!
