Potato Stamp

Updated: Aug 25, 2019

Potato Stamp is a classic autumn activity that combines creativity and is a great bonding time for you and your children.

What you'll need:

  • Potatoes

  • Sharp knife (for grown up use only!)

  • Autumn colored paints

  • Paper

4 Easy Steps:

  • Cut each of the potatoes in half

  • Using a sharp knife, carve out the stem and three little veins on each side of it, resembling a leaf

  • Set up the Autumn colored paints on a palette or small bowls

  • Draw a leaf-less tree on the paper

Let your children dip the carved side of the potato in the different colored paints and stamp their beautiful tree! Let them get creative and use different colors and normal brushes as well!

Join in and make your own painting! It’s fun for any age!
