A fun and simple Easter Egg toy to make with your Babyfirst fan this Spring! Great for babies, toddlers and preschoolers alike. Makes a great decoration too!
What you’ll need:
Babyfirst printable (optional)
Cardboard
Markers, crayons, paints, etc
Scissors
Glue
Craft stick
Fun tak
5 Easy Steps:
Draw your own character or click here to download your babyfirst printable characters
Cut, color, and set aside
Cut the cardboard into 2 even egg-shaped pieces (slightly larger than the size of your character)
Decorate one of the egg-shaped pieces
Cut the top of both the eggs off in a zig-zag pattern - resembling a cracked egg shell. (See image). Be sure to cut the plain one so that it is slightly higher than the other. You can discard the top of the plain egg
Glue the top of your character’s head to the back of the decorated egg shell top
Glue a craft stick to the back of your character
Connect the two egg shell bottoms together using thick fun tak – leaving a space for the craft stick to be able to slide in and out of in the middle
Now your little ones can play peek-a-boo with their favorite characters!
