A great DIY toy you can make from items you already have at home! Create a fun spiral track for your little one’s cars, trucks, marbles, and more!
What you’ll need:
Stack of paper plates
Mailing or paper towel tube
Cardboard
Tape
Hot glue
Scissors/X-Acto knife
Easy Steps:
Trace around the tube onto the center of the paper plate and cut out the circle.
Repeat with a number of plates
Cut out a straight line (from center to edge) on each plate
Put marks on the tube between an inch to an inch and a half apart
Hot glue the plates from the center to the tube. One end should be glued to the first mark and the other end should be glued to the mark underneath
When adding the plate below, connect them with tape
Continue stacking until you reach the desired height
Hot glue the bottom the tube to the cardboard for stability
Let your little ones slide their cars, trucks, marbles, etc down their spiral track! They can also decorate the plates and tube prior to assembling it so they have their very own designed track!
