DIY Spinning Pinwheel

Your little ones will have a blast making their own pinwheels that really spin with the wind!

What you’ll need:

  • Card stock paper cut into even squares

  • Pencil (with a full eraser)

  • Pin with round head

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Hole puncher

Easy Steps:

  • Cut diagonal lines from each corner of your paper

  • Punch a hole in every other corner (see image) and one in the middle

  • Fold in the corners with the holes so they pile up one on top of the other (add a drop of glue between layers to secure)

  • Place your pin through the center

  • Bend the pin from the back and stick in the eraser of the pencil

Stick the pencil in your garden or in a flower pot on your porch and watch it spin when the wind blows!
