A fun and simple toilet paper roll craft to make with your little ones. Kids will enjoy playing and racing their very own unique cars! While they use their creativity to build and design their car, they will also be working on their fine motor skills by tracing, cutting, and gluing their craft!
What you’ll need:
Toilet paper roll
Split pins/fasteners
Paints + brushes
Cardboard
Hole puncher
Scissors
Easy Steps:
Paint the toilet paper roll
Trace and cut out 5 even circles from the cardboard 1 for the steering wheel and 4 for the tires
Paint the wheels
Once dry, use the scissors to cut out a rectangle flap keeping one side connected (see photo). Bend the flap in half inward in order to create a seat for the driver. The seat should stick out a bit (see photo)
Punch a hole in all 4 tires and on all 4 ends of the toilet paper roll
Using the split pins/fasteners, attach the wheels to your car
Insert the steering wheel. You can glue it if you’d like but it should stay in place even if you don’t.
Continue decorating your car with stickers, markers, etc.
