DIY Easter Duck and Bunny

Updated: May 14, 2020

Create adorable ducks and bunnies for your little ones to play with or place them as fun table toppers at your Easter party!

What you’ll need:

  • Toilet paper tubes

  • White and yellow paint

  • White, orange, and pink paper

  • Googly eyes

  • Pipe cleaners

  • Small pink pompom

  • Glue

  • Black permanent marker

Easy Steps:

For the Duck:

  • Paint one toilet paper roll yellow. Once dry, cut in half and then cut an additional small strip out of one half and set aside

  • Turning the two tubes sideways, glue one on top of the other (see image)

  • Cut out a beak and feet for the duck from the orange paper

  • Glue the googly eyes and beak on the face and the feet on the bottom

  • Glue the small strip in the middle of the upper tube for the wings (see image)

For the Bunny:

  • Paint the toilet paper tube white

  • Cut out ears from the white and pink paper, gluing a small pink oval in a larger pink oval

  • Glue your googly eyes on the toilet paper tube

  • Twist three pipe cleaners in the center, creating whiskers

  • Glue the pipe cleaners under the googly eyes and glue a pompom in the center

  • Glue the ears to the inside of the top of the tube

  • Draw a bunny mouth with your black marker for the final touch

Happy Easter!
