A simple rain stick to make at home with your little one this Spring! Introduce your toddler or preschooler to the different sounds and music!
What you’ll need:
Aluminum foil or paper towel roll
Aluminum foil
Large spoon handle
Googly eyes
Tape
Small bowl of rice and small pasta
Funnel
Colorful felt pieces
String
Glue
Easy Steps:
Tape one end of the roll shut with tape
Fold 2 pieces of aluminum foil into strips and twist the foil strips in to long curled shape. You can use a long spoon or spatula handle to help with this
Attach them together
Insert the foil shapes into the roll
Insert the funnel into the open end of the tube and pour the rice and pasta inside. Then seal this end with duct tape as well
Cover your rain stick with different colored felt items and decorate!
